Sarastro Papers

A friendly cultural exchange is an important sign of the amity between Academia Lodge and Sarastro Lodge № 913 in Stuttgart, Germany, established in 2008 when a delegation from Sarastro visited us on the occasion of the raising of Bro∴ Sebastian Ilka. That delegation included Bro∴ Ilka's father, who is a Past Master of Sarastro, himself. At the time, a friendship was declared between our two lodges. See our listing of Sarastro Papers.

Note: Many of the talks listed elsewhere on the site are not downloadable here. This is because they tend to directly explore matters of ceremony and tradition that are private to the Masonic fraternity. While appropriate to be shared in a lodge setting, they cannot be made available on the Internet. However, we will continue to publish appropriate articles here, using accepted standard guidelines for Masonic scholarship (as reflected in journals such as Ars Quatuor Coronatorum and Heredom) as a measure of what is appropriate.
